How Kw Puget Sound Helped a Family

A family of five were travelling through Olympic National Park on New Years day 2017, when they got into a terrible accident.

The family of 5 included, 3 children, 1 of whom died at the scene, 1 is paralyzed from the hips down and one is facing mental/ growth issues now.

The two adults, were the grandparents in the family, the grandfather survived due to several surgeries, while the grandmother passed away in the hospital.

It was 3 generations of a family that was affected, so KW Puget Sound elected them as this year’s annual Auction recipients.

We set a big goal for ourselves this year – $60,000 – the most we have ever been able to give to a Auction Family!

The office did indeed raise $60,000 to help with medical and living costs, as well as funds towards a new vehicle that is easily accessible via wheelchair.
